Insurance

I take Lyra mental health coverage. If you prefer to use your out-of-network insurance benefits, I will provide you with a standard receipt and form (superbill) that can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement. If you choose this option, know that your insurance will determine whether or not to reimburse you and will likely request personal information about our therapy sessions. If this occurs, I will maintain as much discretion and confidentiality as possible. If need be, a release of information may be required for exchange of more information.

If you choose to seek reimbursement from your health insurance, check your coverage carefully by asking:

  • Does my coverage cover for mental health services? If so, does it also cover teletherapy?

  • Does my coverage include seeing an out-of-network provider? If so, what is the reimbursement rate and session limit?

  • Does my coverage cover the services of a psychologist?

  • What are the steps to ensure timely reimbursement?

  • Do I need a referral from my primary care physician?

    Payment

    I accept cash, check, and all major credit cards as forms of payment. I also accept payment via PayPal.

    Cancellation Policy

    If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged the full rate of the session.
